@Ed that’s hilarious… and you don’t even know the half of it. I happen to have vitiligo (auto-immune depigmentation of skin), and it’s very prominent on my hands.
SOOO many times over the years people would hear what I do for a living, glance at my hands, glance back up at me nervously, look back at my hands starting to sweat a little now. I had to explain vitiligo a lot!

After having read this, I’ll be calling my md to set up a bunch of shots. I need the 2nd 'rona booster-I’ll be waiting a bit for the new one on his recommend. He says it will be in my best interest.
I never had measles, mumps, chicken pox. Still got the tonsils and the appendix, never had mono or a cold sore. I got crab lice a couple times, because i was young and my decision making ability was hampered by various substances and liquors…
That being said, ive been really lucky on all that-but luck doesn’t keep you from getting sick. So once i recover from this hip arthroplasty and my Dr. Says i can get those vaccinations? Ima be a pin cushion, baby!

Yeah, vaccinated against them but never got measles, mumps, any pox, and still have my tonsils and appendix. So basically what I am saying is I’m a time bomb

Got Chicken Pox and Measles.
Never got Mumps, tonsils or appendicitis. So Shingles shots were no-brainers.
Covid vaxxes and boosters? Hells yes!
Anxiously awaiting the Omicron 4/5 booster and general anti-Covid bivalent shot. Fuck that stuff.

Yeah trust me, you don’t want it. I just had BA.5 most likely, and I’ll still want the covalent shot whenever I can get it.

Yeah, having the shit only provides a short window of protection. The bivalent shot is the way to go ASAP. If you’re over 50, you should be eligible to get in the next few weeks.

Had all my shots but still managed to have chickenpox ( 3 times), mumps, measles, German measles, shingles and a burst appendix which I thought was food poisoning initially
Just call me lucky

It’s not so much the chasing people with firearms as it CATCHING UP with people with firearms. Things can get dicey quickly in those situations.
