Still playing bass, but not been improving that much. Life got hectic. Still look around here every once and awhile. Happy to see the community is still doing great. Probably be back at some point when my life calms down some. Thanks for thinking of me.

I’m okay. Work has been crazy, long hours and stuff, but I read a post and got all bent over it and thought, if I am going to be this thin skinned should probably take a break from social media.

So I did. It was either that or saying something I would regret.

My system went into production and I’m starting to catch up on the sleep deficit I have been running since January so I’ll probably be back in the saddle soon. I’ve got new basses after all.

I might do one also… I’ve been sicklish… and nearly crashing. And a very bad series of 2 weeks also starting for me. Lots of implementations.

Hey - thanks for the shout-out. I’m around, in and out (apparently more “out” than I realized).

I suffer from a bit of “hobby ADHD”. I pick things up, then something else shiny comes along, and I pick that up, ad naseum. So, my bass involvement has been minimal in the last bunch of months. It’s happened before, and I’ve come back to it before (in fact, it’s one of the few things that is always in the back of my mind as “I want to get back to that…”). I suffered a bit from not being able to play songs that I thought that I should be able to - practicing not giving me the results that I thought they should as quickly as I thought they should - just general frustration. And now to get over the hurdle of being “many steps backwards” from where I had been. But c’est la vie - it’s all for fun anyway… Looking forward to digging back in… And seeing all the great covers people have done in the last few months!
