Looks like he’s doing some catching up ![]()

You are correct. @eric.kiser took some time off to tend to some family matters. He is well. I was to advise of this if any mention of his absence came up. I did notice that he did comment in a few threads yesterday.
Man, I really appreciate how people are watching each others’ backs and watching out for each other in this forum ![]()
Thanks for the update, Booker!
Exhibit 1: You noticing and inquiring on his absence.
Hey Joerg!
Thanks for asking about me. I’ve been away from BassBuzz for about a month. I had just logged back in, yesterday.
I’ve been pretty busy with family. My mom fell and broke her humerus. Then, my brother decided to leave this world behind. Now, we’ve discovered my mom has Stage 4 cancer. So, it’s been a lot.
I’ll try to check back in when I can and leave some likes for all you good people. However, I don’t see my involvement in the forum being much more than sporadic for the foreseeable future.
I don’t even know what to say, Eric - I am so very sorry to read this.
Just know that we are here for you… and whatever little help and solace that might offer you.
Otherwise, be with your family as much as you can. Forget the forum - but don’t forget music!
I wish you all the strength for this, brother!
Eric I am so sorry.
Oh, man, I am so sorry. That’s… an awful lot.
Nothing but love, brother. Take good care of yourself.
So sorry to hear that Eric. ![]()
Thank you everybody. I appreciate the sentiment. Y’all are good people.
@eric.kiser Deepest Condolences, best wishes, quickest of healing, calmest of spirits. All of these from us to you.
So sorry to hear all of that Eric…
ahhh dammit eric, i will keep you in my thoughts today.
I feel for you. My aunt passed away a month ago, no children, so it’s been pretty much all down to me, and then three weeks ago my mum fell and cracked two ribs. I know what that feels like and whilst I know I can fight through it having done it a couple of times I certainly can’t expect my 95-year-old mum to do so. She has done really well but had a horrible first couple of weeks with me doing everything for her (she lives with me for 6 or 7 months of the year). My aunt was her sister rather than sister-in-law, so that’s also made her pretty miserable. Fortunately we’re seeing light at the end of the tunnel now.
Hang in there, fortunately my mum hasn’t any cancer, so I can only imagine how tough life is for you just now.
I’m so sorry to hear that, Eric. It can’t be easy. Lots of strength to you, and take care ![]()
I’m so sorry, Mike. I wish you the strength to get through this, and I hope your mother feels better soon. ![]()
So, now @MikeC appears to be MIA!?!? ![]()
I hope he’s ok. He hasn’t written in the forum for more than a week, and that’s unusual. He is always so nice and supportive.
