Get well soon @T_dub! Rx7 is anxiously awaiting for the 10 bass lines removals you just won!
@Mark_UK hasnāt posted in nearly 3 weeks. Heās always been an active member of the forum.
@Mark_UK wasnāt on Mark Smithās live hang this morning, thatās what made me think of it.
Thatās another familiar face missing too @PamPurrs
Thanks for all those concerned. Landon @Scoundrel1680, did let me know thu text that people were asking about me. At that time, I think I had been in the hospital for 5-7 days and did not really know where I was at the time.
Once that I as able to give him an update and also hit Lester thru PM, I had more of a grasp on what was going on with things, and I at least knew I was in the hospital at that time.
Thinss are getting better adn i am getting better daily. Still a rough road ahead, but I will be sure to keep posted and inform / updated and now leave things as I did last time, I can imagine it not good to be in the dark, unfortunately, I was pretty much in the dark myself for much of the time I was in the hospital. I am just kind of getting thru it today, and will know more as I see doctors later this week. Again, thanks fo my big bass buzz family for your support thru this, I will try to keep light upon things that are still kind of in the dark right not

Hi @PamPurrs and all the great people here. Thanks for thinking of me.
I am OK in myself, but had a lot to deal with and havenāt felt anywhere near chilled enough to do anything musical in terms of picking up the bass for a few weeks. But I should have posted on here to say hi, so my apologies.
Work has been a nightmare, wonāt go into the details, but that pales into insignificance against the battle my brother now has which is what has consumed my thoughts for the last weeks.
He had a spinal op which has gone wrong , and he has now lost the use of his legs. He will be in hospital far from home for probably 6 months, and the most likely scenario barring something really extraordinary is heāll be in a wheelchair.
So a lot to deal with.
But I really need my bass and the lessons to keep me sane, I will pick that up in the next few days, and be back on here being as opinionated as I usually am Iāve missed the banter and GAS.
Good to hear from you @Mark_UK, but Iām terribly sorry about your brother. All I can say is, I hope things work out for the best.
Pam
Sorry to hear about your brother @Mark_UK. Iām sure everyone here is with you.
@Mark_UK good to hear from you sorry youāre going through this. Is he at Pinderfields? Itās a great spinal unit.
Jamie
Gday Mark, @Mark_UK, welcome back, the b2b family is thinking of you in these difficult times, hope everything improves into the futureš
Cheers Brian
Good to see you again @Mark_UK. I can only echo everyoneās thoughts and say how sorry I am for your brother, you and your family.
Thatās awful, Mark. So sorry to hear that. Best wishes to you and your brother and his family.
Iām real sorry to hear that Mark. I hope you and your family are able to find some peace in the midst of all this.
I am so sorry to hear this @Mark_UK
I just spent 3 weeks in the hospital, and although I was close to home, it was like I was a million miles away due to Covid and not having visitors allowed in the hospital. I can say this was the roughest hospital stay I have ever had to endure, not having family by your bedside being patient advocate for you, it really makes it rough trying to go it alone.
This has been the same type of struggle since I have been home for the past week plus, and not having the help of others in my family that can not make the journey or take the risk in the days of Covid. I had not felt the Covid Pandemic lockdown until I have had to endure this and it has really changed my perspective, since I was not really affected by it prior to going into the hospital.
I really have you guys in my best wishes, for your Brother, you and your family, and hope for a quick and speedy recovery with the best possible miracle results possible. I will keep you in my warm thoughts throughout this trying time for you guys.
Sorry to hear youāve had a rough time after getting home. Take it easy!
I guess if it is any consolation, all in all this next week is probably going to set new records for cray-cray in the US, so being stuck at home is probably not the worst place to be at the moment. Still, I wish your family could visit, that sucks.
