I assume this was your first time joining, Laurent?? It was for me. Given how many people we were, it wasn’t a “good” one to start - hard to get a word in 
I am sure you’d be doing more than OK if we all gave you a bit of “space”…
Thank you kindly. I had the great opportunity to live in the US for almost three years (96-98) and I also use English pretty much every day in my job 
So, yes, that helped! (Wish I could say the same about my French!)

Good luck with the surgery @PamPurrs . We all hope it goes well, despite the outcome. @T_dub Hang in here…we’re pulling for you, especially with your health problems. Being incarcerated won’t be easy.

It was really excellent being able to put some names with faces and have a wonderful conversation. I’m sure my excitement got the best of me a couple times and I apologize for any interruptions to the meeting. Glad there are some fellow nerd culture folks such as myself in the group!
@kristine did a fantastic job of bringing in some topics so we could get to know each other even better. Thanks for that!

@T_dub - Hope this situation resloves in a good way for you man. I’m sending peaceful vibes your way and while I have not read many of your ‘so-called lengthy’ forums posts, I encourage you to continue your writing as it seems to be enjoyed by many here on the forum.
With the PowerBall being so high here in the States, we could pool in and potentially buy many 12k pinball machines!

Thanks, @athosmr2003 - it was fun hearing people chime in. I particularly enjoyed the way @JoshFossgreen answered the Star Wars vs Star Trek question. I wish things were a little more Star Trek-ish in some respects.
(I just couldn’t with Kirk, though. Even as a child he was too over the top for me. And Lucas might have been nice to some people, but he will always be the dude who told Carrie Fisher she couldn’t wear a bra as Leia “because there is no underwear in space.” D-bag.)
