It’s a tough call between the Dingwall and Warwick Thumb but if it had to be just one bass to play, it’d be the Dingwall.
I love the way if feels, sounds and looks and it’s far more versatile than the thumb.
Picture, please. Them’s the rules.
Kinda.
Not really, but nice to see.
Quite right too!
I was replying from my phone and can’t seem to post pics in from there.
Anyway, Dingwall in subtle green and Thumb on the right.
@jclay Thanks! Interesting back story there.
That’s the only thing I miss about playing headless… I can’t hang mine by its headstock on a wall.
No worries at all
If only one, it would have to be G&L L2K (don’t tell my EBMM, it’s been getting all the playing time lately)
Man there’s some outstanding basses on this thread!
Yeah. Of course we’ve seen them all here and there, all over the place, but all in one spot is something else entirely. That Peavey of mine feels pretty humble
That rug, Man. You know.
Ties the Jazz together.
whether you have a purebred or a mutt we all love our dogs.
not that your bass is a dog, it’s a fine bass.
this analogy didn’t really go as well as i intended. anyhoo, carry on.
Gotta say my new P was tempting me there too, but I’m still in the honeymoon phase and it would take a lot to boot the SBV.
No way. That neck is great! They made great necks back when.
Mine is a Squier body, Warmoth neck, and Fender Noiseless pickups. I’d say your Peavey is just fine.
All going well @autumnsdad1990 I pick mine up this Sunday.
