My workshop also looks like that.

For about 3 days two to three times a year.

PS. You need a lathe.

It’s my nickname my kids use (long story) and has nothing to do with the tremendously horrible swill that goes by the same name, but, it gives me lots of swag with my nickname on it.

Correct on all counts!

Looks mighty impressive @John_E . Don’t suppose you fancy sorting my workspace out😂 I do go down to the shed with all the good intentions in the world but after sitting and staring for 10 minutes the best solution seems to be to shut the door

HA! I have spent many a 10 minutes looking at the garage and then walking out as well.
This effort (including building the workbench and cab stand) took just about 5 8-hour days.
I would have finished the cover I was working on if not for this mess, but…I am glad it is finally done. Hasn’t been right since we moved here 4 years ago.
Now I will probably never use it or move…

There must be an immense feeling of satisfaction having done it though @John_E ?
You may have actually inspired me to do a little more than look too

You know that merely moving a screwdriver over four inches to make space for a mug of coffee probably doesn’t count, right?

With a setup like that you should start a bass boutique business on the side. Tell the students it is for extra credit.
