I also do synthesizers:
And nerd things like tabletop gaming that I want to get back into, and writing.

Oh my,oh my,oh my @mgoldst !
just bought a pair of p3esr’s. lovely speakers.
I just did a thing. $900 canuckistanian including a 3 and 4 jaw chuck, SS and carbide tooling, as well as a quick change toolpost.
I’m a big fan of that model too!
That would be a useful addition to my work space @MC-Canadastan . Nice buy
Slightly late to the thread. But I like to share my hobbies because some are rather uncommon.
Besides bass obviously, I also play Great Highland Bagpipes and Irish Low Whistle.
I invest in crypt0curr3ncy and st0cks (Josh doesn’t want me to summon any bots lol),
and I love things with motors (although I don’t really have any). I have a very old broken atv and I have purchased a powerful electric scooter that was meant to arrive more than 3 months ago
That’s it for me!
Like several others here, I also draw and paint - seems I’m in good company!
Here’s a few recent pencil drawings
Wow . . . you really have some talent, @Emma_S . . .
They almost look like B&W photographs!
Cheers
Joe
Omg that’s incredible talent!!
Wow.
The only thing I can do with a pencil is math.
Thanks! Yeah, I’m working on photorealism - the details are SUPER time-consuming, but it turns out it’s also super relaxing
Those are incredible!
Wow, such talent!

How long does it take you to complete one of your drawings?
@NipperDog tbh I’m just getting back into this after a 20-ish year break, so I’m sure I’ll eventually get faster…
But the 6x8" drawings (Kurt Cobain & Chris Cornell) took 10-12 hours each, and the 9x12" (Tom Morello) took about 26 hours
(Edit: but since I also have a job (boooo), time spent on each of these is spread out over 2-3 weeks!)
Well, however long it takes, it’s worth the effort.
Fellow synth head! Any favorite?
Amazing drawings @Emma_S !
Nice artwork @Emma_S ,
