The Minibrute 2S probably. The K-2/MS-20 is a close second, though the Wasp has a fun filter as well.
That’s a good likeness of Mel Gibson @TNKA36
I built this one about 7 years ago. It used to be free of clutter but I haven’t worked on a project in a while.
I have to admit a bit of GAS for a PolyBrute even though I actively want to avoid buying hardware synths ever again
If I only had the room, I would love to give a PolyBrute a home
Ironically I have the room (I’d put it where my KeyLab 61 mkII is - they even have the same keybed) which is kind of amazing since my music space is tiny.
I have a Keylab 49 mkII on my Output Platform’s keyboard shelf. Pigments is one of my favorite soft synths, and I have V Collection 8, FX Collection 2, and a MicroBrute I take out sometimes…
Pigments is great! V Collection too. I used to own an Ensoniq ESQ-1 and so I bought SQ80 V last year and loved it, it hooked me and I ended up buying V Collection too. So fun.
Pigments might be the best looking VSTi.
My go-to synth is still Phase Plant; I use the Kilohearts effects for more or less everything (even bass and vocals).
I meant to get in on SQ80, but missed out. I’ll just get it on V Collection 9 I guess
But yeah, big Arturia fangirl here, though funnily enough I don’t own a DrumBrute of either flavor, or their other controllers. I got in on Pigments 1.x and didn’t have to pay for 2 or 3 o.O Pretty amazing of them.
Super great company for sure!
Their support actually gave me very detailed, not-in-the-manual information about the RackBrute 6U power supply when I was trying to do something not-so-smart with it but was curious just what it could put out (I was wanting to power two Behringer eurorack-mountable synthesizers both slated at 1A which is more than it’s rated for…)
Hello! I draw, paint and recently began designing and creating jewelry.
I’m 64, and just started with the bass.
Love Lord of the Rings! There’s times when we (Me and my Hubs) will settle in to watch the trilogy.
Reading the replies, so many here have such vast interests, it’s a wonder they have time for anything else! lol
Welcome!
How 'bout a few pics of your pics?
I recently took up digital painting. I got a $35 Corel bundle from Humble Bundle (though GIMP and Krita are free) and an inexpensive Gaomon drawing tablet, and a class at Udemy was on sale.
Corel Painter 2021
GIMP (mainly photo editing, so don’t wow my drawing skills lol…)
I was bored… super/anti-hero? XD
Making a map with filters
A nebula
I don’t think atmospheres come in purple, but whatever…
Lost among the stars… I think this is the same star field with the plantet
Possible UI for a Decent Sampler instrument
Very cool, @Koldunya . . .
Cheers
Joe
Awesome Koldunya! I am so techno challenged. I’m old school visual art, and have an image of an aurora borealis painting in my head, that I got from images I’ve seen on YT vids. It’ll make it to a canvas, but right now the bass has me occupied.
Wow! Fabulous talent, Emma_S!
…hmmmmm… a cat cleverly disguised as a dog…does it fool the mice?
Beautiful vessels, NipperDog!
The Decent Sampler UI pic was 3-4 layers iirc.
1)An acrylic painting on canvas I did at a Michael’s store (the cloud-looking stuff. It was waves coming into a beach XD)
2)Some custom gradient I did
3)The “stars” are from a picture of popcorn I torched in the microwave (there is a now-hilarious story behind that one). They are the light reflecting off the black charcoal.
