I’m a solid 4, although I skipped over 2 & 3… I’m not a big RCHP/Flea fan, and while I dig slapping, the music I want to play isn’t very slap centric. So, I haven’t put a lot of effort into slapping, and probably won’t for a while.

I’m always singing in my cover videos.
You will NEVER hear me singing in my videos. :rofl:

While I can for the most part sing in tune it’s still not great.

Yeah, I wish I was at phase 2 or higher. Every day I get a little better, but I’m no threat to win a Grammy! (LOL)

There needs to be a phase in between 0 and 1, I would consider my self amateur, but his example there is still far smoother than I am.

(I do get it’s more for humour but still… )

I mean, the dude could play a Cmaj scale with his eyes closed, suffering from a hangover while recovering from 3rd degree burns over 90% of his body, using only his plucking hand pinky, with the bass slung upside down behind his back, and he would be far smoother than I could ever hope to be. :smiley:

He does do a lot of humorous videos and his playing is amazing. He reminds me of Josh a little in that way.

I’m with you on that. My bass face comes from me trying not to sing and mess up my playing :rofl:
I’m not adverse to some deliberate miming though.

I don’t understand why 2 & 3 are so low? Surely no one goes from beginner to wanting to slap? I got bored watching after 4. Cliff Burton…
