Personally, I’m a “pie guy”. Cake just doesn’t do it for me. I mean, some are ok, like a dulce-de-leche cake with butter cream frosting, but generally I’d rather have a nice apple pie than cake any day.
Pie can include pizza.
As a kid, I always asked my mother for a birthday apple pie instead of a cake.
I like cake. I love a really good apple pie any day of the week.
Like both, prefer pie
Pecan pie, sweet potato pie, and pumpkin pie would be my faves, in order. Then blackberry and apple close behind.
And don’t forget about good southern-style cobbler.
Whatever peach cobbler is, that is my favorite.
For cake I like Boston cream pie.
For pie I like Apple.
Cake all the way! I like savory pies.
Normally, cake. But if the wife is baking a cherry pie, then forget the cake!
Pizza is considered Pie in the NorthEastern USA so I need to include that too
pie and cake are actually synonyms
Just wheel over the pastry cart.
Key Lime Pie.
Man, now I want some pecan pie. With some ice cream.
Tiramisu or creme brulee for me. In the absence of those, whatever is on the dessert cart. Pie or cake? Whatever. Why limit yourself to one or the other?
I see what you did there.
It’s a question of which is your preference; which you would choose if presented with both cake and pie as options.
This. I like this Eric guy more and more.
You can think it, just dont say it. We are trying to keep @eric.kiser humble.
It would depend on what kind of pie(s) and what kind of cake(s) are being offered.
(I wonder if there’s such a thing as tofu pie or cake)
