Yeah, me too. Of course I had some help with the Zoom B1 Four. I had it on the Motown sim (patch 42) for the tone I was looking for.

I’m going to try to find something harder, but I subscribe to the teachings of that great philosopher Dirty Harry: “A man’s got to know his limitations.”

We all are only limited by our own patience.
I have spent months on a single song refusing to let it kick my ass.
Alternatively, I have ‘given up’ on songs because I simply don’t care enough to put the time and patience in to nail it.
I believe we all can play anything, all it takes is time and practice.
I’ve been trying to nail “I Want You Back” for the better part of a year.
Why haven’t I got it - patience- I give up.
@Barney - how long did that song take you.

@JerryP - you can play anything you want, this I know.

They all seem to take a while, but if you mean ‘I want you back by The Jackson 5’? Then the answer is 3 hrs a night for 6 weeks. Lol

Finding something harder should not be a problem. Remember running into Billie Jean when you did the B2B course

As far as limitations are concerned, I think @John_E has the right idea. How badly do you really want to be able to play a particular song and are you willing to invest the time and effort.

We are our own worst critics.

Sounds about the same time frame it took me to get Arlo Guthries City of New Orleans down for a solo performance on Acoustic Guitar. My problem is that I keep adding additional flourishes into the mix and this is not necessarily a good thing.
