Excellent playing as always Jerome. Love that backdrop, is that the place you are staying at?
Great production all around.

Thanks Toby!
Yes, the background is the lanai of the place I rent when I’m working out here.

Nice job Jerry, @JerryP ,
Good tone from the bass, i liked the swaying palms and the cool shirt, fitted the laid back Eagles style.
My cover of this song was played a bit different, just shows that as long as you hit the right root notes the rest falls into place :sunglasses:
Cheers Brian

Thanks Brian! Yeah, I changed a couple of bars, but it sounded good to me.

Your background is fancy. And your playing, as always, is solid. I kept waiting for someone to come take my drink order in this lovely outdoor bar with good live music :tropical_drink:

I have one small observation (and it really is just an observation, not a criticism). You start in the middle of the frame, and gradually shift stage right. I know, from conversation, that you have the sheet music off camera and are moving along the pages, so your shifting makes me smile.

That’s a pretty good take on @JerryP ’ s cover post, @kristine and gave me a smile

Happy hour is from 2pm to 7pm, no cover charge.

Yeah, you caught me. The music was clipped to a four foot piece of cardboard and I had to shift over to see it.
Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you @thomas ! I am really digging this bass and it will be a shame to have to leave it here in Hawaii until I return.

There is not a lot of feedback action over in the 50 Song Challenge of late. So here in a shameless plug for the Challenge. Even if you are not participating in the challenge try to stop by over there and give feedback to the folks working on songs there.

Here are three I did in the last week and a half…

I did not like the orignal bass tone in this so a little VT Bass DI and EQ.
I challenged myself to learn this one in one day.
https://youtu.be/P7P7lKcXc5w

First of two with the Edwards E Groover, tone rolled up ~80%, B7K for grunt and drive.
GHS Boomers on this now make it and me very happy.
Took two days on this because I spent too long dialing in the tone.

Second with Edwards, same tone setting but used the VT Bass DI and EQ again here

So all you kind folks should check over here every so often to see if anyone posted new covers….

There are quite a few active and new ones coming all the time, they would love your comments and support.

nice triplet @John_E ! I really like your Edwards, a very surf-music look with its shape and color, and a serious tone with its P pickup !

it’s kinda close to the Offset Telecaster guitar :
