It was really good. You sound great, and your schecter is fire, bruh.
(Says the guy with the same schecter in sunburst…)
I thought there was one more in the '80s? Marie Takeuchi or someone similar? I forget the song but it was pretty famous.
IIRC YMO came close a few times too.
But yeah, totally cast a long shadow. Definite classic. Breaking over to Billboard from Oricon was not easy.
Nice cruizie bass line Jerry, @JerryP .
Liked the different camera angles, looks like you got the lighting sorted
did you go with Kristine’s, @kristine recommendation
Cheers Brian
Thanks Brian! On that video I used the natural light through the window but I did change the light bulbs today to all LED type. We’ll see on the next video how it turns out.
My Japanese friend want me to do one of her songs as well. She is going to try to get the music for me so I can learn it.
This is the song I was thinking of:

classic '80s City Pop. Turns out it was never on the charts at all but it’s pretty famous now because she just rereleased it and its new video went huge.
It’s been really widely covered
Hi Howard @howard ,
Any news on when the borders are going to open for overseas travelers
Cheers Brian
Open now for business travel (on a visa). No word for tourist/visa waiver.
Nice work Jerry…and look at all the goodies hanging on the wall!
Yes, I know this song, but she wants me to do this:

Thanks @autumnsdad1990 ! I do love that Schecter and I could go on and on about it, but you already know
Great playing and neat song choice @JerryP! The video editing is looking really pro too. I like the close-ups of some of the finger work. Whether this song is your cup of tea of not, there’s no denying you keep things classy around here
Cool and casual as usual @JerryP !
I love the fact you and others throw so many varieties in the cover mix. It’s good to hear stuff other than my usual music
