Great job @JustinAndSheba!
I never really liked this tune but in the past year it has really grown on me and really love the bass line. Sounded great.

PS - I still have the “Love Gun” in the album.

Such a cool song and its great to see you step out of your comfort zone a little with some slap/pop!

Wow! I never would’ve guessed you just learned the technique.

Did it work? This is confusing me.

Thanks John. I still have the record too. My cousin gave it to me probably 40 years ago or better.

Well, that’s up for debate…LOL! I started playing in 1987 though. :upside_down_face:

No.
Just simply paste the link to the video on a separate line and it should work.

“Red Barchetta” by Rush.

Sorry about the audio quality, it didn’t sound like that before uploading to YouTube. I may re-record it to fix it.

Hah thanks @dlamson13 ! I’d tinkered around with some basic slapping but this was the first time I actually had to knuckle down and try to play a song with it… This I think is definitely as far as I’ll go, unless I hear a really good slap song worth covering .

Great job @Qohelet-David - it must have taken a fair bit of time to learn

Love the haircut btw

Hehe thank you! That hat is a special one.

And yes, like any Rush tune, it did take a while to learn it, and even after all that practice, I pretty much never get it perfect. Lol
