ok, I have put in the time…and here we go…
This was fantastic @groaner - nice reminder that we don’t have to over complicate things and can still sound like we should! Perfect - no, but for little practice it is great!
unavailable here apparently
Pretty damn perfect !
Great job, mix a bit hot but playing spot on.
Sounding GREAT!
These generally go here…
Nice job! And if you are quick, you can now see them again before they start fighting again
great as always, I like the 735 and the Lignum on this one best
Gonna need a wig for your next glam rock cover

The Jam reminds me of a very cute blonde girl from college. Great pick.
Nice tone on this, great job.
well that sounded damn perfect!
love it, great playing, dig the tune too.
funky
very well played!
solid!!
sitting in my work apartment up in Rochester, NY - home of Lou Gramm listening to your cover. Played excellently! like the growly take on it.
fantastic playing, the style worked!
that. was. awesome. pure gold!
another great job - great tone you are getting out of that thing
i mess around with some BeeGees stuff when i practice, they are great fun.
Very nice job here @ed, loved it, very funky job
you guys that cover Rush are in another league - great job and must be fun studying these songs and nailing them
number of times my sister played this - infinity - but I like your version anyway
amazing playing
Please add this in the 50 songs area too!
Something off with some of the notes tone wise on this one - this song is famously out of tune by a bit
I feel like you are rushing a bit here and there vs. the beat of the song
well played otherwise
your band sounds GREAT btw - not my type of music but appreciate how good it is.
Love the name, my company name is Transcendent Processing btw!
Would not have nailed you for a Pet Shop Boys guy, lol
good job on the tune for sure, please keep posting your band’s stuff in the original compostions thread
I know Wilco are great, I know I should like them, they just never took.
Very nice playing all that aside, lol.
This tune is GREAT - you should check out Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, I think you would dig them.
sounded great man!
I was just listening to their greatest hits the other day - and I am not an Old Fart
Very good playing here, super tone as always
Oh I love Peter Green -
great job here - but watch out on that posture - trust me, I learned the hard way. I struggle every time I play not being all hunched over, it will cause you problems quickly
Holy crap man, that is nuts, well done!!!
I would really like to hear your playing recorded better, you do a really great job on all these.
Thanks and glad we could help!
fantastic job on cover #1, playing, mixing, etc.
and that tone is perfecto!!
really really really good job
compression is a good one to understand and to use a plugin for. It essentially evens out the loudness of your playing so if you play a bit to soft it will still be heard and super loud notes get tamed. Used too much and it changes the tone, which can be something in and of itself. That’s it, that’s all it does really. I found this video really made it click for me (I was as lost as you prior). Then, honestly, its a bit of watching meters and dialing in until your ear develops and can here things change when changing settings, but don’t worry about that much.
YEAH! I own a zillion Wanda albums, she is the bomb!
nice simple bassline - well done!
dang you always dial that tone in so well - you should have been a recording engineer @JerryP - well done as always!
nice laid back funky playing - great job
two for two, well done!!
fantastic!
room looks great too!
never ehard of this one, like it, playing spot on as always
Please remember to put the artist and title in your post so Terb can catalog the year’s covers (@terb - big job this year man, eeesh)
sounded really great, a bit high in the mix but playing very good!
just fantastic!
not crazy about the tone on this, doesn’t sit quite right in my ear, but love the line you came up with

great playing, but didn’t like the tone or mix or something, maybe just a little high in the mix
well done, would like to see you do the Go-Gos version for sure
this is an incredibly tough tune, and you did a great job.
def some timing blips but - you came through on the riffs that stand by themselves, so you hit the money notes, lol super!!
you know you need that new John Taylor Dingwall. yep, I said NEED.
super cool growl on this, great job
if you are not in one already, might be time for a Rush cover band
fantastic job. These go in Post Your Practice Fragments though if not full covers.
I think you have a psychedelic side to you man, trippy and well done!
