I absolutely think that she has deserved that - if she even wants one!?!?!
Still, I am wondering, how she can be floating around like that? Does she have super powers? Is she DC or Marvel?
The bandstand is in a ‘bowl’, like a small amphitheater with seating around it. She was walking along the seats
She floats like a butterfly, while her dad stings like a bee!
Video stabilization has come a long way - it’s almost like a real Steadicam.
Really enjoyed your cover and had a lot of fun hearing you swear … in rhythm (which is not that easy ! But I suspect the cat helped ^^)
Keep up the good work because we pretty much can’t wait to see the next.
Nice !
Another great cover @sunDOG ! And yes, get her a drone!
Man the video production is excellent on this! Loved it!
Greatly enjoyed this cover. First, because it’s a little something quite different than what we use to listen to here. Second, for the demonstration of your (hard but well paid) work. I’ve always considered this to be too hard for me, but maybe I should still keep it in mind for the exercice alone.
Nicely done !
Totally agree with that and he’s also fascinating to watch : among the several videos where he’s modifying something, you can literally see the amount of experience in his fingers doing so.
Radiohead - Creep
Please feel free to criticize my timing and technique.
This is my second attempt to cover this tune. The bassline is simple and effective but for some reason I find it tricky
Thank you so much! It’s definitely doable. Just go slow and steady. I got discouraged a few times and put it away for months. But I finished and as with everything else, that feels good.
I was like this too. But start with easy songs and try to incorporate the pick into practice like once a week at first. I used to learn a song first finger style then learn it with a pick because finger style was easier. Also if you don’t have a desire to use a pick at all then just stick to what you’re doing… it’s all good.
That’s what I’ve been doing recently. Think I’ve found a pretty easy song to practice with, still trying to figure out how to hold the pick properly so it doesn’t fly out of my hands. A lot of my favorite bassists use picks and I would love to be able to play some Tool at some point…I’ll keep at it!
Sounds really good to me
Thank you John! Been digging into a lot of PJ lately, more covers to come. I think its really cool you managed to catch up on everyone’s posts and give feedback, not an easy task! Always great to hear from you
Loved it, that song always makes me think of Empire Records. You did great!
I also would use the big triangle picks (I think Justin Chancellor uses them actually) then switch over to a normal pick and go back and forth, now I don’t use the big ones anymore. Our bodies are weird, they just need a little repetition and positive reinforcement.
Thank you
Not sure I’ve seen Empire Records, will definitely have to put that on the watch list
So many great covers here now! I have updated the playlist and think I have subscribed to all of you on Youtube. If not I will soon. So far there are 299 Youtube covers in BASSBUZZ 2024 YOUTUBE BASSCOVERS playlist. So many great songs and so many great people playing bass, @JoshFossgreen must be so proud!
Once again fantastic work both from the newcomers and the once that have have too many basses to choose from.
I hope to upload one later today, still some small changes to remeber. Hehe:-)
I have 322 in my list so far (but not all are on Youtube)
i had to look at it without the sound
Fun observation, you started showing rythm with your left leg (not fully “on time” with some variations in rythm) and slowly moved to your right leg.
you look quite relaxed and movement are smooth
you look really badass - well done !
Will try with the sound later, looks promising
