Round Here - Counting Crows
I love the lyrics to this song, and the overall way it builds. I had a lot of fun breaking this song down. The bassline has a laid back soulful feel that enhances the song a lot in my opinion. Took some time to get down. Thanks for checking it out!

Today I offer you rock and / or roll with Inna Gadda Da Vida by Iron Butterfly.
Apparently the album was the epitome of psychedelic excess. This particular song was intended to be a one and a half minute ballad, but was gradually extended to its full 18 minutes during a recording session that was so epic that none of the band could remember it.
Fortunately I could only manage the single version ! Still, when you have a riff that is so full on heavy, you don’t need more than 3 mins
This is my first outing with my new Line 6 POD express and it has not disappointed me 
. I’m running it through the built-in “Round” amp sim (Portaflex) with a hint of overdrive and the compression dial at about 1000.
Now I have a feeling that the song might be blocked in the US and its territories. Blimey who have thought that these hippies would have become such materialistic breadheads eh? So apologies in advance…
