Yesterday was zombies, today is vampires. (Don’t worry this is a lot more calmer than yesterday) And here’s a showcase of how the Dingwall sounds. The fanned frets feel natural and it feels really comfortable to play!

Sorry, it’s been hectic around here the past few days. I’ve been helping my parents get ready to move (I’m storing 21 cases of wine in my front living room for Mom), and when we weren’t there we were getting our house ready for them to stay here next weekend. Practice time has been limited. I got some time finally to sit and just play tonight. Here’s my run through of the studio version on my G&L. Nothing fancy, just some comp.

This was a bit of a chore to record. It took a bit longer than I thought it would. I like how it turned out other than the singing. I am not a singer, though I may try again on another song.

Awesome, super happy to see more full covers. That was great. You’ll quickly never want to look at another backing track again, full covers are addictive.
I have some (constructive!) comments and tips on the mix if you are interested but overall it was a good effort.
Your singing is fine. Singing Joy Division is surprisingly hard. I wasn’t super happy with my singing on Disorder either, but Ian Curtis is just hard to replicate. You got across what you needed to and sounded fine. Singing takes a lot of bravery to post and well done on putting it out there.

Incredible job dude. I don’t have a single critique, that’s really really good. The vocals are better than fine. Ian’s hard to sing and you didn’t have any problems capturing the spirit of how he sang it. Love the Faith shirt also. Just top notch, all the way around.
