I feel that, and agree. I used to worry about mine not being all white too. I still have a few knuckleheads mixed in that refuse to just fall in line, but in time I’m sure they will all just turn as white as ghosts.

My entry into the Christmas song canon, bashed out on my fretless at 6am this morning (Christmas Eve).

Sire V7 Fretless into the Hotone Ampero, then on into GarageBand. Oh, I left my usual cartoon filter off, with it on, you don’t really see the Christmas tree lights. Also, check out my gold shirt

. The pair of them ended up having a play fight just behind the camera, it would have been much more fun if they had been in front!!
The fretless is cool. I can play it as I would a normal bass, but I have to concentrate on finger placement. My ambition, next year, is to learn a couple of songs where you play it as a fretless, aiming to get that tone. There are a couple of Japan and also Duran2 songs I’d like to have a go at…but it will take some work.
