I use the Steinberger brand “non-calibrated” double ball end strings. I get them from Sweetwater, who usually have them in stock.

I did a cover of Hey a good while back. I really started gravitating towards them once I learned Paz Lenchantin was with them. Big fan of hers. Well I guess I should clarify, I was a big fan of hers when she was in A Perfect Circle and Zwan. Lost track of her until I started digging haha. Of course she’s gone now, but anyways.

Yeah, Kim Deal didn’t want to come back, she and her sister were kind of dealing with life when the band got back together, plus I gather there was significant drama with Black Francis.

Wonder how she’s doing now. Paz was brought in as a replacement and seemed great.
