Great Job on this one!

Thank you, I wish I’d dialed back the flange and chorus a bit. I was having fun with them when I hit record last night. I knew when I was doing it that they were too high. At more normal levels, it sounds a lot like Simon’s sound.

Thank you. I’m picking up a 30" baritone tomorrow to turn into a VI. Plan is to work on Primary first.

That’s awesome! I learned Untitled on my bass and bass vi but I haven’t had time to record it yet.

I need to work on chords. Primary is an easy one to start with from the looks of it. Tbh, I would like to get some of his stuff off of Wild Mood Swings and Bloodflowers. I think all of Robert’s guitar on Bloodflowers is done on a VI.

Thanks, bud! I’ll make up for the lost time when I tackle “Cowgirl in the Sand” or “Cortez the Killer”!

WHOAAA! Very funky. That was awesome. Badass status confirmed. That was one of my favorites covers I’ve seen on here.

A fun one from our set list and the only song that I get to play chords (yes, power chords are real chords, you pedants :grinning: )

Featuring the best Batman (fact).

Nice playing man! I’ve been a victim of the YouTube AC/DC block myself. I tried to post a cover of “Flick Of The Switch” once and it was a no go. Oddly, I covered a few songs off of their latest LP “PWR UP” and they were allowed, so there has to be some licensing issue with some of their material. I hate it when bands do those “in-between” tunings, too. KISS has a lot of songs like that. Makes me think they slowed the tapes down a smidgen during mastering.
