WigWam - Do You Want To Taste It? (aka the intro song for Peacemaker)
after all the moody-broody of my last handful of covers (“Pneuma” “Day I Tried to Live” “Black”) the streak had to be broken - so we went full-send with the ridiculousness.
Symbolism? None
Shame? Zero
Angst? Not here.
Fun? 100%
Tone was surprisingly tough to nail down - feels like I lost some lows to the kick drum, but I’ve got some new toys (TrackSpacer) that should help with that in the future - but I feel like we hit the upper-mids pretty squarely.

That was great, Duncan! The tone was perfect….as I wrote on YT, that nice pause and then the bass coming back in at 2:46 is very cool.

Wow! That’s a fascinating story! I had never heard of this. It’s a great song and I enjoyed your cover very much. Thanks for posting this and the video about the search for the band. This is one of the greatest things about the Internet, people from around the globe together invested in a detective work to find out who composed a song from 1983. I’m happy the search was fruitful and the band members got together to perform it after so many years!

Thank you Andrea! You’re right, YT has done this to me before. I did a Dio cover of Holy Diver and they immediately blocked it. I ended up having to use rumble for the upload. Rumble is a great platform that doesn’t block videos, but it just doesn’t get the views like a YouTube post will. I’m sure if you know how to work it then potentially it could be of great value, I just haven’t figured out how to work it yet. Appreciate you!

I did three covers off their latest record and they’re all still up. It’s all the Back in Black and Flick of the Switch era stuff that got blocked for me… I’m guessing different labels/copyright holders.

Flick of the switch!!! On man, I remember, as a teen, getting that on cassette. It was really a commercial failure by back in black’s sales, but I love the album! Some great songs on it, my two favorites were “Guns for hire”, and “Nervous Shakedown”! Crazy how videos can just get blocked bro. My holy diver video got blocked but I’ve seen others post it on there, or I did when I tried. Super annoying.

Yeah, it’s a good record but I think it was never really mixed properly. I’d love to hear a remix of that album. I’m with you on the blocking situation - no idea why some are allowed when others get “shot down in flames.”
