Super cool. I have the same bass (and color) in 4 strings. How do you like it?
love it - worked out really well for this despite not using the low B, but felt like that pickup selection and EQ circuit gave me access to some sharper tones than my Ray34.
Yea that multi position switch I’m still getting used to. I feel like that bass produces the cleanest notes out of any bass I own. The notes just sound like the notes. I don’t have another way of explaining it. It also feels smaller and lighter than I would expect but it’s great.
Great job on the national anthem @JustinAndSheba Lol seriously though another triumph for the Steinberger. I am starting to feel the first GAS twitchings…
Way to bring the funk, that sounded awesome!
It’s pretty clear, that’s for sure.
At first, I was just using the multi-position switch kind of “as-directed” - Finger, Pick, Slap, etc and avoiding the flat or solo positions but it’s definitely interesting to play with. I haven’t really found much incorporation just yet for those two but I’m going to do some more playing around the next couple days and see if I can’t find a way to work them in on the tunes I’m working on now.
Great job! Love your tone here! Really got that Jazz growl in there.
Back in December, I joined a cover band with folks a lot more experienced than me. The focus is on Clash and Pretenders songs with some odd 80’s/90’s punk and alternative thrown in.
Please excuse the awkward angle (nowhere good to put the camera). Here is us practicing “Precious” by Pretenders. We flubbed up the end but it was a lot of fun . Hoping to gig in a couple months.
I’ve heard worse endings to songs live when played by the bands who wrote them.
Sounds great, my man.
Classic! nice job
very funky, I like it!
Thank you!
Well done beaurapp!
Thanks!

Feeling kind’a psychedelic…
Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love
“Sunshine of Your Love” began as a bass phrase or riff developed by Cream bassist Jack Bruce after seeing Jimi Hendrix in concert on 29 January 1967
Dingwall Combustion into the Ampero, then on into GarageBand.
