I appreciate that feedback. I have to play this live next weekend so I should practice it a few times with the original bass in it to reacquaint myself with the feel.

Thank you. I try to cover songs that not a lot of people know that I think are cool or deep cuts of well known bands.
I love my stingray but that is usually a problem when I use it; I make it too loud. But if I quiet it down it loses a bit of what makes the sound stand out to me. I have been eyeing a precision bass though so I can have at least one passive bass since I didn’t like the sound of the jazz bass I had so it fits snug when I do more mellower songs instead of the stingray overpowering everything and the jazz sounding too thin to me

@sunDOG well… it’s funny you mention that one being pretty mellow 
that was after I learned one of the hardest songs I’ve ever learned.
This song was one of the main purposes of wanting to learn an instrument and now almost 3 years later of playing, after living in my head on repeat for 10 years only dreaming of how cool it’d would be to learn one of my “final boss” songs I finally did it. And it really is because of all of you here that gave me the inspiration and motivation to push the limits and never stop improving.

Thank you John. Not sure if the fuzz is me (fret issue) or level on mixer not set right. I usually use my passive bass, and didn’t adjust. Appreciate your sharing… I’ll clean it up.

And yeah, it was pretty challenging, again due to having the memorize all of the different variations, for the most part, but that’s exactly what makes it so satisfying when played well!
