Yeah just like the BeatBuddy but it would be lovely if it told you e.g. 100bpm
It’s hard to beat the buddy. That screen is so intuitive. I sold mine since I only use the drum app on my phone
i really don’t have a use for something like this, but this could be very close to my ideal preamp. simple, no bells and whistles, and sounds amazing. needs a DI out though. especially at this price ($250), why are we still having to ask for this.
wth why did I think it didn’t have one
Does anyone know what Eddie Breckenridge from thrice, uses? I’ve been trying to nail that tone but can’t pin point it
Have you seen this pic of his pedalboard?
might help
with further details of pedals/basses etc:

thanks a lot! That helps.
Because this is life at our age.
Don’t fight it, think of these as happy bonus surprises.
preeettttty much
Awesome!
Will Bass kill it, though?
Now that would fit perfectly with all my unused gear
I watched that today and although very cool - like many Source Audio pedals - super confusing
hey look someone made @howard a pedal
I was kind of wondering why this hadn’t happened yet, especially considering what a lucrative market all the modular synth geeks have turned out to be. If you think you’ve seen GAS for bass…
I would like pedals with a cab sim stage to also have one more IR block next to it for inverse IRs. It would make carrying a portable PA speaker as a stage monitor instead of a bass amp even better. I’d like to be able to inverse out the PA speaker IR and then apply cab sim, starting with a blank slate.
Can you do this with the pedals that let you use custom IRs? I’m assuming the result of running though the inverse and then the cab sim is the same as running through the sum of the inverse and the cab sim as one step. Is that assumption correct?
It would be. I haven’t tried to find a utility to do that yet. I’m sure it’s a technically difficult process.
