Hey Klassy, nice 370Z! I had a 2015 and just loved it.
Andrew.
Hey Klassy, nice 370Z! I had a 2015 and just loved it.
Andrew.
Thank You Andrew. Its a 15 GT Premium, leather recaros, Whipple SC, longtubes, Full BMR Suspension, 1400 HP halfshafts . tuned conservatively. to 745 at the crank. I barley ever drive it any more, we are stocking up on the non insured drivers where I live in Florida. It only has 10k miles on it.
YBB is supposed to take the “Edge” off but it takes very little edge off, lol. It’s a very cool bike none the less.
An Audi A3 is a heap of poo?
(At least I think that’s an A3?)
Looks like an A3 to me too, yeah. I don’t like Audi at all, but still, not that much shitty
Ha! I’ve always loved VW and Audi fastbacks, fell in love as a teenager and never grew out of it. We own an A1 now
oh, sorry …
No worries! I think VW/Audi/Porsche generally has lovers or haters, pretty polarized opinions there. I’m used to it
Yeah, sure !
As always it’s related to our own experiences and what we’re searching in a vehicle. VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda are really boring to me. That said I’m fine with Porsche. My best friend owns a nice '87 3.2 911, that’s why I know a little bit about Porsche. He likes VW and Audi too … but I’ve never been convinced.
I much prefer a good’ol Peugeot but that’s just me
To each their own really, that’s why a lot of brands exist.
This one is
I also always liked how Citroën look, never owned one though.
Yeah their thing is making pretty sporty cars that look like econoboxes. Which is kind of why they have a cult following.
Hmm, maybe check out the TT? I love little coupes like those.
I owned a BX TRS, the range just before the GTi. I tried to buy a GTi at the time but it was hard to find one in good shape, so I didn’t. My brother owned at least 3 or 4 Citroën, including a funny Saxo VTS.
I still own a Citroën C15 kinda mandatory in the french country. Very useful actually.
The oldest Citroën were crazy considering the engineering, but it’s not true now since they merged with Peugeot.
Also I love, love love, old Peugeot’s. My favourite car is probably the 205, it’s a modest one but the chassis is stellar. The 106 is great too.
My current car is one of the latest “real” Peugeot (a '99 406, still an old one ) and I hope this one will last forever because it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. And the previous one was a Nissan with the SR20DE engine.
no. My GF would like one but in my opinion the TT is not less boring than other Audi’s … Well maybe we’ll get one for her, I don’t know. But not for me, really.
Cool! I was about to say my friend had a “vintage” '70s 204 but remembering now I think it was actually a Saab 99 (very different car actually).
Very different, yeah. Saab are cool cars too, yeah !
Well to each their own also we probably have a very different use of our cars so it’s not really possible to compare.
I’m considering à Ford Focus III for the next one, or maybe a BMW E46. Don’t know yet.
Had a convertible Saab years back.
Used to sit in my grandfathers as a kid and pretend to drive.
They were styled so damn cool and it’s such a shame they are gone. A great example of corporate takeovers destroying great brands.
Nothing like a Saab.
OK, I’ll bite. She’s a 1996 ‘993’ C2, Iris-Blue-Metallic, six-speed manny tranny (G50), LSD, VarioRam. Multi-Full-Concours winner and even tracked at the Pocono Raceway! I currently have 66,000 miles on her (I do my own maintenance.) No CEL, no oil leaks (really!), runs like a Swiss watch. I’ve owned her since 2005 because my AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) got married, had a son and life got in the way.
And including @howard
Late to the party, but I always loved this commercial:
Grew up with Audis - and I still like them!
I was a fan of the older Citroën models (even though they had some disasters also back then - “Ami” anyone!?! ) - but now, they are not as innovative and different anymore - pity!
sadly true …
Let’s see what I can find pictures of:
Here’s my newest toy for brapping
This bike is trainer use only now due to some possible fork damage, but I raced road a bunch back in the day:
A fun story about the mismatched wheels in that picture is that I flatted the front going 30 mph. That was definitely the wrong kind of excitement. Now I have an aluminum road bike that I ride some, but I’m kind of over fighting for space around cars.
I also have one of those fixed gears that caught a bunch of flack in this thread
Track use only though, some fun stuff
And some dumb stuff
on that bike.
I have a cx bike, but I’m not going to find pictures b/c it’s in the doghouse - I broke my collarbone crashing that one. No gravel bike so far, but my gf just got one. If it turns out she rides enough gravel that I’m grumpy about riding my mtb I’ll pick one up I guess. Or if I get upgrade-itis.
