Holy bull turds! That’s insane. It totally reminds me of driving on “le boulevard périphérique de Paris” (the ring road around the city center). 5 lanes each side in some locations. Lane splitting by motorcycles is legal in France. Traffic on the périphérique is always insanely heavy and mostly stop-and-go. The moto drivers on their café racers act like they’re F1 drivers. They mostly arrive at their destinations safe and sound. Mostly. I saw one accident just in front of me that surely killed the moto driver. He was going full speed down the inner breakdown lane when a car in the left lane pulled over right in front of him. He never had a chance. That was the second time I’d seen a moto driver die right in front of me. The other time, I was driving a school bus, and had to deal with a bunch of very traumatized kids.

I drive a car with airbags. I wear my seat belt, and drive very defensively…almost all of the time.

Just sold MY 2022 GT Premium. I have a 2105 F250 with 53k miles and my daily is a 2006 Avalon with over 200k miles on it. Sold our Harleys around 2007, too many idiots pecking away on their phones and back surgery didn’t help.

Not my ride, but the thing that a friend of mine owns to get to work.
I could try it out. I’d rather ride my bike

I was able to watch it for only 10 seconds. :face_with_peeking_eye:

How did you manage to fit inside that?

I think it would feel so scary and unsafe to drive that in the middle of the other cars. It looks so small. Maybe even smaller than the 3 wheeler Peter Sellers drove in the movie The Party?

With some effort

It’s the Swiss “Cyber Truck”, so yes, it’s small
But it’s quite safe to drive it in Switzerland, as they all drive like old grannies over there!

Reminds me of why I would never get back in a submarine.

The Dutchman’s next ride.

Too large

Ironic that this topic came up… the video I post below populated my yootoobs yesterday. Its a hobbyist/ car-guy who built it. I snip to the finished product, you can rewind to watch the build. I am not condoning this as a regular production vehicle:

That is part of the reason than I sold my 15 GT Premium. It had 850 at the crank, garage September band only 10k miles. Phones and stop sign runners forced my hand not to drive it anymore.

I sold my last motorcycle (Kawasaki GPz 1100, loved that thing) about a year before the iPhone shipped. I miss it a lot, but in retrospect that was good timing.

Kenny Rogers time

You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em and know when to walk away.

I miss it, but I’d be dead by now and that would affect my bass playing.

That’s a nice Hurricane. I’m guessing a Fireblade? Always loved the CBR’s, always will think of them as Hurricanes.

Nice! A girl I dated in high school had a new white with a red hood scoop ‘68 convertible, with a hot 327 and a 4 on the floor. She had a very cool dad, especially one who would trust her with that much engine. She let me drive it a couple of times. That was a blast. Unfortunately, I was just one of the many boys she went through that summer.
