Ref: short scale

I have two other bass guitars. And my finger span is not that wide. For a tall person it’s quite narrow. I’ve been playing long enough to know that it’s not gonna get wider and it’s not gonna get easier. I purchased a short scale bass guitar. This guitar is like night and day easier. FYI it will be my go to bass. Glenn

There’s definitely a need for short scales, whether for playability or tone. Best of luck with yours.

I have both, a long scale Aria and a short scale Squier, both are P Bass and I really prefer and enjoy my Short Scale more. So easy to play, feel like an electric Guitar
