I can do that!
I am 99% sure I can make it, and right back at ya Pam.
Hand up.
I presume its open for all on here? Would be lovely to have another social outlet while we’re still very much in lockdown over here!
Yes!

Just a friendly reminder everyone, tomorrow (Feb 15) I have a Zoom meeting scheduled at 2100 UTC. I hope to see lots of you there so we can meet in (virtual) person. Some of you have been on previous Zoom get togethers, but I’d love to see some new faces.
If you are unsure of what your local time is in UTC, here’s a handy converter.
Can anyone outside the US join the Zoom meeting, or is it strictly American?
@alanjans If you can access Zoom you are more than welcome. It doesn’t matter where you live. We are all bass players from all over the universe and we are connected.
Thanks, Pam - I calculate it will be early Tuesday morning my time (Australia), but I may get up in time!
am I reading the chart wrong?
Isn’t UTC the time between the EST and PST on the chart.
That would make 2pm AZ (1pm PST) be 1600 UTC
and 2100 UTC would be 7pmAZ (6pm PST)
Or do I have something confused?
For me, 2pm AZ time is easy for me to run with, it is 1pm for me
But the UTC for everybody else, ???
Not trying to confuse things, but I am confused by the schedule a little.
can somebody confirm or deny this?
UTC is GMT. Zulu Time. It is currently 3:30 am UTC, if that helps
UTC is universal, no matter where you live.
Ok, I was reading it wrong.
This one helps make it perfectly clear to me.
I was creating a time that was not there in between the two timezones.
I used this one and it made more sense to me
Thanks for helping clear that up guys.
1pm PST
2pm Mtn (AZ)
4pm EST
2100 GMT / UTC
No worries, time zones are confusing. A perennial part of my life as an expat too.
