Yeah Marketplace is the worst. I sold a mountain bike on there. Local pickup. Dude from Nova Scotia messaged me ‘Hey could you deliver?’ (That’s about 5000km).
I told him to buy an atlas and go back to school.
Anyway if I didn’t already have a P Bass you’d have had a sale.
It is a great looking bass. And the stock P pickups are actually really really good. I was going to put them in the soon to be delivered 2-string slide bass but I had been thinking this bass was going to be sold so I held off. With my Edwards and CS Straight Ps I really don’t need this or use it much at all. The Les Claypool pickups never really did it for me either (sorry @Al1885 I guess I’m not much of an EMG guy after all, although I still have two sets).
I sold my Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe pedal on talkbass in about 6 second, literally. And there were two buyers! Guess I priced it too low. Priced it above what I paid but not in a price gouging way, didn’t any to do that. Still got more than I thought I would. Woot.
Yeah when I sold my TRBX304 here a few years back, I listed it, clicked on the “view your listing” button… and it was sold. Almost freaky when that happens.
Well, I still have my Schiit together. Never going to lose my Schiit.
Because when it comes to badass high-def headphone FLAC listening, my gear choice is totally for Schiit, simply because the alternative is inconceivable, and that’s no Schiit.
Dunno a better place to put this. I have a low-end acoustic guitar listed on my Offer Up. Last night, around 10:15 or so, someone asks if it’s still available. I answer “yup”, and then go to bed.
This morning, I awoke to more messages from them, dated last night at about 10:30, asking if I could bring it to them. “Now” even.
I rolled my eyes so hard I think they almost popped out of my skull.
