What branch?
I would attribute that to GI ingenuity!
Yea the logistics and overall execution are impressive, but Murphy always shows up!

Army Reserve, PSYOPS.
That and the E4 mafia
Thanks, Al. I actually thought of that, too. Lol.
But thereās no way that could happen, unfortunately. I donāt where it is or which government agency has it. USPS ātrackingā is a bad joke.
Itās been 72 hours since the last update. I just gotta keep a positive thought and hope it shows up.
My EBMM Cutlass landed at LAX last Friday night, 5 days ago. Since then thereās been no USPS updates at all.
Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Then, just a few minutes ago, I got an alert that my globe-trotting package is out for delivery today! Woohoo!
Fingers crossed it arrives OK.
Iām taking your Cutlass off of my āOnly one bass - its time again for thisā post
My EBMM Cutlass finally just arrived from New Zealand! And in one piece!
Its MM hard case came uber-protected by a shipping box, about two rolls of duct tape and lots of bubble wrap. Everything is spotless inside and outside the case.
I just had to play it after all this time, and WOW!!! The neck is the most comfortable and easy to play Iāve ever experienced. Its back is a satin finish that feels like a gun oil/wax treatment.
It came with flats on it, but I donāt mind at all, because the combo of strings and low setup make this a breeze to play all the way up to the neckās 22nd fret.
The pups are HOT! The Cutlass sounds like a Fender P and an EBMM StingRay had a baby, with the best characteristics of each. Big, fat, punchy tones. Just what Iāve been searching for.
Only one quick unveiling snapshot for now. Iāve gotta get back to work to pay for this thing!
Congrats!
Glad you got it in one peace! It looks great!
Thanks, @howard. I appreciate all the feedback you shared with me about Ps in general and various pups.
The hunt was long and arduous at times, but allās well that ends well.
Thanks, @RuknRole! I was fixinā to go postal on the postal system.
So glad it showed up. Your Kiwi bass!
So cool looking. Good stuff
Thanks for helping me with the wait process, @Wombat-metal! This whole transaction started on Reverb, but the seller and I decided to blow them off and do the deal ourselves. So there was no safety net for me: no Reverb protection, no CC protection (in fact, no cc at all; had to be an international cash transfer!) and it had to travel thousands of miles across water, then be handled by USPS, to get here. Whew!
The whole thing was a Hail Mary pass. That scored a TD.
Ok, itās going back on my āOnly Bassā list
Yay!!!
So happy for you and a dream bass.
And @MC-Canadastan and his rocking P
ALL SOLD!
Before I list all this stuff on Reverb, I figured I would list it all here first.
If you save me the trouble of listing it elsewhere, you get $$$ discounts.
As I have run out of space, a bass must go, and all of its parts.
Fender MIM Vintera Dakota Red, minty for sure.
This was my red and gold bass but I just have too many P options and donāt need this.
I have put it back to stock, and selling all the gold stuff seperately.

Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe envelope filter
This thing is insanely cool, but with my MXR and C4 next to it, I really have no need for it.
These are quite collectible, made a handful at a time, and are currently (and usually) not available. A guy on talkbass is trying to sell one for well over $400.
New, if you can get them, are $305, there is a huge waitlist.
Our own Josh has 2 of them on his board.
Mint in original packaging etc⦠$350 free shipping CONUS (sell here for $300)
Good looking bass. Whatās the correct protocol? Do I low ball you here or over on Reverb?
Facebook marketplace.
Then you donāt show up, then you try lowballing even further two weeks later.
