SAG - Selling Aquired Gear

Hey, Brian! G’day!

I’m a huge D&D nerd (if you couldn’t tell by all the books on those shelves) and you can order custom stitched CR bags from CR themselves; my GF got me that one as a gift a few years back; it’s stitched with “TIM’S DICE! Hands off!” right above the CR logo.

Edit: Oh, yeah, Crown is great. I’m partial to Crown Royal Vanilla… just super smooth with subtle hints of vanilla on the back end. Great stuff. All their other “flavored” whiskies are too sweet, but the vanilla is top notch.

The Crown Royal bag has been the traditional dice bag since the hobby began. When I saw the bookshelf, I was going to go with it being a bag inherited from a relative during your teen years and filled with numbered polyhedrals. But, having that custom embroidery is a pretty next level nod to the traditions of the game.
:sunglasses::+1:

Edit: That is probably one of the nerdiest things I’ve ever written. I stand by it.

So, had the listings up on reverb for two weeks. No takers on the Foundation, but still leaving it up just in case.

Had two lowballs (~$700 CAD) on the SH Fender, and one of the “what’s your lowest price” variety.

To quote Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels:

“It’s a deal, it’s a steal, it’s the sale of the fucking century. In fact, you know what? I’ll fucking keep it!”

If there’s one of those you should keep, it feels like the SH. West Ham and all.

Gotta love those lowballs bids! I have a hard time selling too. Think I should have listed way before the summer when people still had extra money to burn.

Summer is the worst time to sell stuff. Oct and in you will do better. Everyone busy with vaca spending.

Finally! SOLD!
Doubled my money, woot.
Now back to all spaces filled, no more room for basses… hahahaha

Guessing you are six-less now!? It’s such a different thing… I had to sell mine as well. 5 is fine, 6 is… too much

It’s partial credit but he still has the Bass VI if I recall

Plus a telecaster, a real 6 string!

Yeah, OK, I guess… I was talking about pure instruments, however :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Correct. It was a great deal but never used it and needed the room.

Agree, but the Bass VI seems to make more sense.

Decided to list my Telecaster. It’s fantastic but just isn’t getting played, I spend my guitar time on my Revstar.

The Peterson StroboPlus is available for $100 including US shipping to the forum before I list it.

SOLD, only lost about $100 on it off the new price, too. Basically rental for while I owned it.

Great instrument, sounded quite nice with the P90 I put in it. Just not my style. They do look fantastic though. Definitely worth having to try out for a while.

So was that a $100 loss on what you told your wife you’d paid for it or the real price?

The real price! My wife doesn’t care how much they cost. We have a deal. Long story.

That’s a fine bass and a smoking hot deal. I’ve got the exact model in Olympic White. Good luck with the sale.
