On Saturday, I sold my Spector Legend. This was the third bass I bought, but has not been played since I bought basses #4 and #5, so it really had to go!
And today, I sold a 1990 Fender Deluxe 85 guitar amp, which I’ve owned since 1991, and purchased off a reasonably well known guitarist mate of mine. I hadn’t played it in years and it was just collecting dust…
I want to purchase a new shorty and will sell therefore my ESP Ltd B-4E NS.
It is in a very good state (I would say: new-ish) as I have played my Blackstar Sofa bass most of the time.
Question: I want to aks 400€ for it. Is that realistic?
The general rule of thumb is ~60% of new price is getting a ‘good deal’ in the used market.
This of course excludes collectible things and some higher end things.
I see it listed in US for $750 new, which would be $450 at the 60% mark, your price converts to $432, so I think you are in the right ballpark for sure.
Looking to part with my esp ltd 204b fretless
Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Bought new 9 months ago. Conservative estimate is 40 hours playtime-i would keep it but I’m simply not a defined enough player to use it to its potential.
If anyone is interested, message me and we will see if we can hammer something out. Id rather it went to someone here in the forum than listing it on reverb.
If not shipping it in a hard case, it’s awful nice to wrap it up in bubble wrap or the foam sheeting they use for packing. A box from a previously shipped bas is always nice, but a person can improvise pretty good with a couple sheets of cardboard and some tape from your local shipping center.
It’s a pretty good idea to de-tune a step before shipping.
Thanks this is helpful. When I bought it, it came double boxed, should I double box to send it out? It would probably increase shipping expense to do that or is it enough to add more packing to just a single box?
100% on this. If you send it out like you got it originally, that should be really good…but i don’t know where one gets that new bass smell to put in the box😛
I’ll add another Genzler MG350 head to my list of gear for sale. I’ve already listed the brand new one previously so I’ll add the other. I will sell one or the other. This one I’ve had for less than 6 months and it’s never been outside of my home studio. It will also include it’s original shipping box, manual, and power cord. It’s in mint condition and perfect working order. I just don’t need two of the same amp since the other came as part of my MG350 Combo.
$450 vs it’s $650 list price. No sales tax and I will ship it within CONUS at N/C.
I ended up selling my Prophet Pro-1 and Kobol Expander clones. Both were Behringer and top tier clones. It turns out, though, they validated all the reasons I dislike analog synths and love digital ones, despite being outstanding
I did keep the Arturia MicroBrute though. This thing is just adorable, brutal, and unique.
If anyone is in the market for analog synths and want clones of the classics that are spot on and very high quality, you owe it to yourself to check out Behringer. It feels weird to say this but my Pro-1 clone was way more solid than I remember the original Prophets were.
