…and while all those things are true, just sold it too. I just hate hardware analog synths in my workflow. Software all the way.
Man can strong recommend the MicroBrute if you like hardware analogs and like mid-late '80s electroindustrial or EBM music, though. This thing is great and I absolutely love its filter. Tiny, simple, adorable, and really really raw.
Buying and selling some plugins! For all the usual reasons. Prices are firm, I pay transfer fees. All of these are awesome, I just have other solutions now. Paypal only please.
I found a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 used on the floor of a local music store. It has the tube hybrid preamp built in.
It looks very similar to the Genzler Kinetix that was recently released.
The Effectrode tube pedal sounded amazing, but the tone controls being from the design of Fender Blackface were a bit goofy for bass. With the hybrid tube pre I don’t think I really need both.
It’s definitely a mood that’s struck. I’m inspired by @Barney‘s pedal board. I think he has it figured out. Pedals were turning into a collecting hobby and I don’t really want that. My wife likes the trippy sounds so I’ll keep the Ravish Sitar and the Superego+ as non-essentials go.
I think I’m also going to sell the Gretsch semi hollow, the Ibanez 5-string multi scale and the Fender Am Player PJ. The Squier is so tricked out with Delano pickups, Graphtech tuners, hipshot bridge and daughter’s custom paint design that it’s all I play really. The frets are perfectly even. The only thing that makes it a Squier at this point is the more boxy body.
Out of curiosity, what medium did you use to sell? I’m looking at selling a couple basses and guitars. I’d like to avoid shipping, I’d rather do face to face.
Don’t use a medium @Tommydogg they’ll only pretend to communicate with the dead using cold reading etc and you’ll still be left trying to sell your bass.
