These are very versatile and have been a darling of the bass community for many years. I’m only selling it because I did an A/B with my other preamp and decided to keep the one I started with.
I’m the second owner. I bought it from Pam. It’s never been gigged and is in excellent condition. Comes with the original metal box and all the paperwork inside. No roses though, I should have asked for one.
I strongly recommend these as well, it was my second favorite preamp I owned (and my favorite solid state one). And yes I had many, I was a preamp geek.
Well, I’ve sold it! The bass was / is a Spector NS2000/4 through body, from approx Y2K. While I thought it looked beautiful, I really didn’t ‘gel’ with it. This is this the second Spector I have bought and subsequently sold, so maybe Spectors are just not for me…
Well not everything we buy and think will work does. The list of gear I’ve bought and sold over a 60 year time span is long and distinguished. Some of the stuff from the '60s and '70s I thought was crap now sells at vintage prices or has a manufacturer reproducing it and selling it for far more than it used to sell for.
