SAG - Selling Aquired Gear

Actually I am wondering what that wood will look like after you sand the cruft off. Needs a new neck though. Plus (obviously) all hardware/electronics and pickguard.

But the body might end up awesome.

You could imagine cleaning that off a bit, covering in resin, then shaping and polishing. It would look awesome!

That’s some legit roadworn shit.

If “roadworn” means using it as an anchor for an unobtanium barge on an acid lake.

I’m picturing Freddy Krueger with funk fingers in lieu of knives.

Sadly if you look at the top back edge it appears to be breaking up. Almost like it’s been subjected to some serious heat. I suspect of the crud is quite possibly holding it together!

Once owned by the bassist Lucifer it’s seen a few too many gigs in the pits of hell.

Just sold my Spark Mini and Spark GO. Will also sell my Spark Control, as it is useless without my Sparks (and haven’t used the Control anyway).

But - yes a miracle happened - I will sell my Boss Katana GO.
I really liked it, but summer is over, and after a few weeks of usage I switched to my Zoom AMS-24 and never looked back.

I will sell within Germany only, maybe continental Europe and wont ask for the ridiculous high prices I saw on Ebay.

So: Boss Katana Go, 150€ excl shipping

I also sell some other stuff, but that might not be so interesting

There is more to come

So, funny!

In Germany there’s virtually no interest in the Boss Katana Go. And the two guys that asked about it wanted to negotiate me down.
I had some requests from France, no negotiations, no stupid questions, and now sold it to France.

My guess is that there was no German review about the Boss Katana Go, so there was no hype. The Germans are just as happy with a Nux.
There seems to be French reviews, so the French were eager.

Reviews seem to be the best marketing instrument. I underestimated that totally!

Maybe not the fully intended use of this thread, but I just needed to share that I said goodbye to my Yamaha TRB5Pii yesterday. I have had that bass for more than 5 years, and it was only the second bass I ever bought
 and a damn fine bass!

It was hard to let go, but it had to be done. I feel happy that the buyer is a young professional player from Ukraine, who is here in Denmark and left most of his gear back home (hoping to return to it eventually). What he played to test the bass was better than what I had ever played on it :joy:

Good to know it’s in good hands with this talented young lad:

Pouring one out for old JP

Ah, thanks  In Scandinavia, we rather drink it - too expensive to waste like that

The idea is that it’s pouring one out for the dead to honor them. Kind of like tossing the old chief in a boat with a young maiden and lighting that mofo on fire.

Yup, OK - that clears it up  We do that every other weekend or so (depending on availability of young maidens)
