Here’s the thing, Joe Dart has been playing the Sterling Dart pretty much in every concert in the last 2 years. It may not be as pretty and feel as good but it sounds pretty much exactly like a dart.
This is such a great bass. 32" scale and has a built in headphone amp, killer tone. plus it’s also comes with a guarantee that you can sound like this

WHICH ONE that I rebought? There’s a list. 
So… it’s just a tale of wanton financial dumbassery which, incidentally, can pretty much be directly linked as one of the reasons my ex-GF broke up with me. I had a few basses I’d bought, didn’t think I liked them, sold them, realized I did like them, and re-bought them when they were relisted for sale (although a couple of times I did reach out to the buyer and ask if I could buy it back). The “most famous” was a Carvin B4, which I think I re-bought 3 times. Multiple times I wound up paying, like, $3-4K for like… $800 basses.
It was really dumb, and I don’t do that anymore. The only bass I own now that I re-bought is my red Kiesel Osiris which, if you note, is not listed for sale. That one has an original invoice date of my birthday, so it’s a keeper.
I didn’t say it was ONLY basses I was selling, LOL.
I had 3 accordions and only needed 1, so I listed my 2 Hohners. One sold already. I’m keeping my Guerrini-made Contello.

I have a bass that I want to sell, and I’m really not sure how to price it. They’re no longer made, and internet pricing is all over the map! And then, there’s also the fact that mine has been worked by a luthier, Franklin Guitar Works, as well as having upgraded parts. This is significant because these models came with a flaw. They’re necks we’re not perfectly straight. After the neck reset, they needed a new complete fret leveling. They used a plastic nut and saddle that is too soft, and the strings dug in badly. So this one has had them replaced with bone nut and saddle. With their full set up, it plays like a dream. And lastly it’s had beautiful abalone dots installed on the fretboard to match the rosette. The shop photograph was the bass hanging in the shop when I purchased it. You can see there’s no dots on the fretboard and it’s rather plain compared to now. So I really don’t know what to do. I’m thinking of just keeping the price low, where someone can get something extra nice, and I can just move on with my own GAS. But advice would be appreciated. A few photos. Oh yeah, it’s 23” scale.
