I bought a MIM (2010) p off of marketplace last week. Gave him the address where I worked and told him if it was legit I’d buy it. He showed up mid day, it was so I bought it.
Ordered a G&L off of Reverb today, this is my first time using Reverb, seller got great reviews, he messaged me so fingers crossed. I’ve been watching it for a while, Irish ale Kiliton tribute, anxious for it to get here.

Continuing the discussion from SAG - Selling Aquired Gear: I followed your dilemma on the G&L, glad you finally got one you liked. I ordered one off of Reverb yesterday hopefully it will be as described.
If it’s not as advertised, Reverb will back you up, you just need to be firm. My second seller found out the hard way that I would carry through with negative feedback if he didn’t process the return. I finally found my JB-1 in Sunburst locally for half of what I was trying to spend on Reverb. Interestingly the seller was the original owner and he purchased it from Sweetwater. It has an epoxy fretboard, which is something I’ve never seen before on a G&L Tribute. I was trying to pick up a ‘beater’ and wound up with another gem! Ain’t life grand? Now, for that elusive Kiloton…..
Yeah I’m pretty anxious for it to get here. It’s an Irish ale Kiliton. That will make 3 for me. LB 100, L2500 and the Kiliton.

I live in Yonkers, NY – and work in Rochester, NY. I can meet-up to save shipping anywhere from north Jersey, western CT, and from Westchester county through my route to work along I-84, Rte. 17, I-81, I-90 to Rochester. Otherwise, shipping ensues. I go back and forth a lot for work so gear might not be where I am for a week or so. I won’t be home again for two weeks from this posting, so add’l pics etc. may be delayed, which can be DM’ed on request.
Note – any OEM hardware that was swapped out will be included unless otherwise noted. Some of these have strap locks on them, which will come off for sale and I will put OEM strap pins back on.

Fernandes ZO-3
Bought with our good friend @howard in Japan and imported back to the USA. Have never seen another in the states. I thought I would use this more outside on the patio or up in the family room while noodling, but, really haven’t. Comes with original gig bag. Like new, fiddled with it a couple of times. Built in speaker for quiet practice, or plug in.
Traveler TB-4
I used to use this when I travelled a lot for work, which it is a dream for. Great sound, headphone jack, small. Comes with OEM bag (purchased after I had the bass a while). Strung with Labella 760FS flats. A great tiny/travel/mini-bass.
Brownsville Bat
This is a house brand for the old Sam Ash chain. Not a specimen of craftmanship, but a very, very, very cool bass. The bat inlay is da bomb. I put an incredible Seymour Duncan SMB-4A pickup in it as the OEM. The bridge on this thing is OEM and not the best. I started looking for a replacement but lost interest. Had to replace some of the adjustment bolts. Strung with GHS Boomers M3045s. Cool (and actually rare) factors abound.
ESP LTD Frank Bello Signature FBJ-400
This is a fantastic looking bass. It was my “poor man’s KISS bass” until I got a Punisher and Gibson Grabber. Flat black paint makes this thing look amazing.
When this was released, a high-end signature bass was also released (FB-4) for thousands.
This lower end bass had some things I did not like about it – the pickups and the tuners. ESP also sold the active set of pickups that came in the high end bass separately. The pickups that came in this bass were weak AF, so I swapped them out for the high end active set of EMGs that were in the high end bass ($210). I do not have the original pickups as @Al1885 bought them from me. Tuners were replaced with Hipshot HB-7s ($120). Strung with GHS Boomers M3045s.
Only issue with this bass is there is some chipping of finish around the strap pin on the tail, which the previous owner colored in. I forget it is there and not noticeable at all.
Sterling by Music Man Joe Dart Generation 1
Bought as part of the hype of ‘gotta have one’ and never played it after buying and noodling. Mint/new. It’s a great bass, just not my jam. Strung with original OEM flats.
Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Special HH – Ball Family Reserve – Dargie’s Delight III
With original case and case candy bits. One zillion percent mint and immaculate. This is the most beautifully crafted bass I own, a joy of craftmanship. I just don’t like that second humbucker – for me it is in the way. Has never left my music room, recorded one cover on it. I have spent a couple years wanting to fall in love with this bass for more than it’s looks, but, simply cannot. The neck is even amazing. All original. Strung with GHS Boomers M3045s. Pics do’t do this bass justice, do some McGoogle-ing.

Zoom U44 DAI with Zoom EXH-6 add-on External XLR/TRS Inputs
This is a sentimental one, and needs to stay in the BassBuzz family. It was originally owned by our own @Pampurrs, who I bought it from after she had to give up playing. I used it for a bit in my apartment but replaced it with another Roland Octo-Capture (love these things). Nothing wrong with it, works great. I will throw in a USB cable with it.
Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster Pickup Set
I bought these to swap out (stupidly) the OEM pickups in my Fender Baja Tele, not realizing that the pickups in that guitar are designed for the Baja and another Custom Shop design. They are used and have been in my Tele and removed again, still in great shape. Original packaging. Stock image.
Sennheiser XDW Wireless System
Nothing wrong with them, I moved to the Boss WL-50 and haven’t used these in a while. Original packaging.

I am selling a Gretsch G3156 here, fitted with a Bigsby B-7G. The original Bigsby unit is also available (optionally), should anyone prefer the guitar in its original factory configuration.

This appears to be a very fine (Korean-made) model; I believe it dates back to the early 2000s (please refer to the serial number).
As this guitar comes from an estate and I am a bassist myself, I can only offer limited insight regarding its technical details.
The guitar looks great and—to my (bassist’s) ears—it sounds great, too.
The original owner played this guitar exclusively at home, and its condition reflects that. I cannot find any significant signs of wear or heavy use!
Ideally, you should come and play the guitar in person, as I am certainly no authority on the subject—six strings are a bit too much for me to handle! 
The guitar looks even better in person than it does in the photos. HOWEVER: there was a pick holder glued to the top right side of the body, leaving that area slightly lighter in color. I suppose that’s just a typical guitarist’s habit!
I have captured this in the photos, but it looks a bit different “in real life.”

It wouldn’t be a bad idea for a beginner to go with a Joe Dart right from the start, but appreciation for instrument minimalism and austerity is a learned perspective that most often comes from lived experience.
Might not be in the budget for a beginner 
The Joe Dart retailed for either $399 or $499 new. One of the reasons I mentioned it, cost, simplicity, quality. @MikeC is en pointe about a beginner not appreciating the minimalism, but to me it checks the boxes for a beginner bass too
