I’ve been trying to find this on Spotify but with no luck
Oh man. I don’t think I have heard Molly Hatchet since high school. Now that’s some classic rock. You can probably guess the song I always think of for them
Oh yeah. I’m really only getting back into them after a 20 years + break !
One last ride rings true on a few levels for me.
Plus that lead guitar is just the mutts nuts
A bunch of links to fantastic music in this article:
Despite “best of” lists usually being dumb, this is actually an interesting cross-section, especially as they mixed some more recent stuff in. I agree with most of the characterizations. Some odd choices (I love Human League’s “Dare” but no way does it belong on this list, complete lack of early Cure and Bauhaus, etc) but all in all they got some really solid choices in.
Works for me. LOL, I just don’t like the Cure, early stuff too
I can see that. They aren’t for everyone.
I’m the opposite, I really love early Cure, especially Seventeen Seconds. “A Forest” is one of those songs I can’t think of a meaningful way to improve upon.
Something you have to like the style for to appreciate though I guess.
I love “The Cure” live in orange is awesome.

Hey Guys,
Here is a song by Cyndi Boste at the album launch for her Album “Foothill Dandy”
I have uploaded a few of her tracks in the post your covers thread.
I am planning on covering some more of her stuff into the future.
Cheers Brian
Hi Guys,

A lot of “new” interesting music here in this thread.
Anyway, this is Wonderwall:

(SCNR )
12:11 - Exit The Soul
the princess of funk
Haven’t checked her channel recently, wonder if she’s got something new going. The Groove Jyoshi seem to be taking off stateside.
I remember learning this in my late teens or early twenties…rehearsing in a the drummers barn. We were unbearably loud I thought the building was going cave in at any minute…LOL
Someone brought up psychedelic rock in another thread. I was never in to it per se, but I have always been in to post-punk, and of course I always loved Bauhaus/Love and Rockets/Tones On Tail, Husker Du, etc. And they were very in to psychedelic rock.
So naturally when post-punk and psychedelic rock meet it can be awesome

Oh yes it can.
(repost of that second one but it’s just that good.)
- Gary Numan has a recent live album and no one told me. This makes me sad.
- His bass player plays a 'ray

Looks like they used a P-bass back in the day. Nice phaser on that bass too
I remember having a girlfriend that dragged me to see her new favorite band that was just getting popular, the cure. When they came out onstage I told her that is the ugliest girl I ever saw. I was not joking.
Great Band @howard,
I have a bit of his stuff.
Cheers Brian
