Yep, huge fan of Yoko Kanno here. Interesting she isn’t playing anything in this one, often she does.
Kano’s hand shaking something makes an appearence
oh sorry
It’s all good. Here’s one I have posted before too
Love the bass tone in there. It’s a P/J and the guy has dialed in a nice balance of the P punch and the J growl.
Ok seeing Green Day do rock classics just broke my brain. The Fun Police are going to make them turn in their Official Punk Cards™ again.
Sounds like they were only around a couple years, bummer.
yeah it has been a very short-lived band
I think we might have had a video with Ryan Martinie before… I can’t say I like the stuff he is doing with Mudvayne (really not my type of music at all), but I think he is a very interesting player who includes a lot of different techniques into his playing.
I dig much more what he is doing with his other band “Soften the Glare” (I am almost positive @kerushlow will dig this as well)
Bonus: he’s got his shirt on in this video
Very nice Joerg @joergkutter,
Nice tone from the bass, holding it all together
Very impressive
Cheers Brian
I mostly always loved the MTV Unplugged concerts and just recently I stumpled upon the Tiny Desk Concerts by NPR, they even do an “At home edition” now during corona which is super lovely (Dua Lipa was awesome to listen to). The one I enjoyed the most given I’ve seen this channel for 2 days only is from Paramore in 2017:
