Howard, thanks. I am quite versed in Japanese culture and pop culture. These three are actually really just three Japanese bands I feel the urge to see.
Cool! Yeah, Wagakki band would be a fun show.
You should check out Beniâs YouTube channel. Content is random but can be funny. Beni Ninagawa is the shamison player.
Also Wagaki did a cover of Bring Me To Life with Amy Lee as a guest. Worth watching.
I thought the shamisen player the Groove Jyoshi used for their What Is Hip cover was great too, no idea who she is though. Itâs not Beni.
I think my favorite shamisen use I have heard recently was in Secret Maiko Lips though. Not because it was so great, but because it just fit right in surprisingly well.
@Noisembryo I love love love Minstry from âTwitchâ onwards but Uncle Alâs cod British accent on âWith Sympathyâ is too much for me to bear
I still think Nature of Love is my favorite thing Al ever did, except maybe the RevCo stuff. Just because it was so everpresent in clubs and kind of an early sampling masterpiece.
Gotta love that psycho stab.
Billy Thakidd is playing in this music video so I thought I would share this song for some support. The song has a really nice groove and tone.
You mean the most used and abused Fairlight preset (Orch2)?
Ha! I didnât know that.
I think I only ever saw a Fairlight once when it wasnât on stage or something. Same with a Synclavier.
But yep, there it is
Pretty much everything RevCo did is amazing. Most of Alâs and Paul Barkerâs side projects up through Linger Fickenâ Good were great in one way or another.
If you havenât read it, Alâs autobiography is a pretty decent read. It has a story about him meeting famous racehorse Secretariat
Hahahaha I can only imagine
Possibly the previous owner of my new Schector bass !
Art Of Noise has lots of songs with it:

âŚand bunch of other 80âs songs, like this one:
Yeah once pointed out you canât unhear it. Amazed I never made the connection before. A bunch of Yello just popped into my head just thinking about it
Art of Noise was great, used to be a huge fan.
