A little bit of Janek Gwizdala, one of the best bass faces out there… And also to show @PamPurrs what she can do with the looper in her new toy
Happy Friday!

Never have I seen such bass face.
I hope he gives clinics.
Beautiful playing. Just gorgeous.
I needed something to lift my spirits today. Discovering a new-to-me artist may do the trick. This is raw in all but smooth sound. The sound makes me think of funked up Janis Joplin.
I’m all about the latest Tedeschi Trucks record the last couple weeks! (Tim Lefevbre on bass, delicious)
Scott Mulvahill singing and playing Begin Againers. It’s upright, not a bass guitar, but, oh my!
It’s going to take me some time to get that bass face down…
Yeah, OK, that’s a serious contender, @PamPurrs
Friday!
And, while I’m on the swedish metal train…
One for all our climate-conscious members!
Opeth: Very nice, @oldthumper!
Poor Greta, though

Ooh very nice. I had never heard of them before, which is odd considering the genre and timeframe. Thanks!
Impossible!
Better known for the heavy stuff…
Just checked out the brand new album last week.
Super prog, super weird, very very great and cool.
Love Opeth.
Blackwater Park = CLASSIC.
Here is a rendition of Jaco’s classic “Continuum” by Michael League and col-leagues (haha, another bad pun, sorry…).
I like the intimate atmosphere here, the obvious joy in playing together, and how they give space to each other and play truly together, rather than “side by side”:
Happy Friday!
Deliverance is pretty cool too !
here is an album I discovered yesterday. progressive stoner/sludge.
That’s great. I’ll have to go digging.
nice chorus+delay effect he has going there.
And an octavizer too (in the solo)?? I wasn’t really sure what I was hearing!?!
