I needed something to lift my spirits today. Discovering a new-to-me artist may do the trick. This is raw in all but smooth sound. The sound makes me think of funked up Janis Joplin.

They have a new album out that is well worth a listen. Over the years they’ve morphed from death metal to prog rock. All of it fantastic.
