Was watching bass covers on YT and randomly came across this guys original material. Love it!

I’m becoming a big fan of Chris Elliott’s songwriting. Also I could not agree more with his lyrics.

The setlist for Peter Hook and the Light’s tour. I can’t believe that I’m going to get to see Ceremony and Atmosphere by one of the actual JD folks.

Any setlist that contains “New Dawn Fades” is EVERYTHING! No need for “hoping for something more”…

Novelty into Disorder is one of my favorite back to back song transitions. They used to do that in Joy Division.

Atmosphere is the perfect cure after the downer of Twenty Four Hours too. I wonder if they will have Rowetta along for Atmosphere.

She’s great. I think this is maybe more mellow than other stuff of hers I have heard, I like it a lot.

Rediscovered Kasabian, yay!

Like the energy, the cheeky lyrics & british accent … and of course the easy to noodle bass lines…

i can’t even tell you the last time i liked a hip hop group, run the jewels probably. of course it helps that half of their stuff is in gaelic  :shamrock:

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Makes me wanna beam back to the 90s to one of those illegal open air parties in England, not taking drugs (cause drugs are bad!) and pogo on the dancefloor til it’s empty!!!

(Though the song itself is from 2004, I know @howard :-))

her previous solo album was actually quite mellow too, compared to what she did with Made Out Of Babies, Battle Of Mice, Spylacopa and Cult Of Luna

This particular band has some world class musicians in it. The bass player (F-Chopper Koga) and guitarist (Tomo-zo) are pretty famous. This band also has a lot (a lot) of spinoffs that are also great. My favorite is when they open for themselves

Here’s them playing their Spinal Tap-like alter egos (at a show they opened for themselves at):

Part of the Roxy kick I’ve been on. I’ve never understood how Eno didn’t get as big as Bowie back in the day.

Good music everyday, but I’m feeling it this Friday.
