That guy should be playing Motown.
That’s what P Basses are for.
here is some post-motown, then
That’s more like it terb
@howard She has such a thick accent but it sure doesn’t show when she starts singing Higher Ground.
It’s funny. There’s a singer here called Superfly who does absolutely perfect covers of English rock but doesn’t speak any English at all. Her cover of Rhiannon is better than the original.
Doesn’t seem to have a video but here’s an amazon link you can listen at.
It’s Tuesday, which is like the Anti-Friday, so here’s Al Jourgensen and Dave Navarro doing an acoustic version of one of Ministry’s mid-80s hits, back from when they were a very different band.
Haha, that guy was just dying to light that spliff the whole time
Hahaha yep.
For those who don’t know who Al Jourgensen is, it will make for some interesting reading. Especially if you like industrial music and industrial metal.
I like the intro…
I saw DEVO at Birmingham (UK) Odeon in 1978
I like Devo and I’d love to find a “lego-style” red hat.
There’s one on eBay terb but it’s not cheap.
You’d actually look quite good as a member of DEVO I think

lovely ! but way too expensive for what it is
Here’s a cheaper one
still expensive … I’ll make one when I’ll have a 3D printer !
Good plan
I’ve always loved Devo. Mark Mothersbaugh is ridiculously creative and an amazing musician (check out his movie scores).
It’s why I was so happy to find Polysics
The fact that a Devo-like band can still pack the Budokan makes me happy.
this song is on my cover-to-do-list (as well as more or less 100 other Polysics songs).
Back to my childhood - the band, not the song title…
Money is the Pink Floyd song that always gets the bass love but this has long been my favourite Floyd bass line.
