Woo, I really like this! (pg.lost)
ANTIFRIDAY
First three minutes are build, then
good one !
and
Even I like this
Some excellent contrasts in that second piece. Her voice works well for it.
OK for some āFlight of the Bumble beeā METAL BASS BADASSāERY styleā¦I present to you
āSTING OF THE BUMBLE BEEā⦠. (and it isnt even Steve Harris this timeā¦lol)
Thereās a lot in this genre you might like. It hits a lot of interesting ethereal highs, punctuated by deep driving shoegaze and flat out rock. I absolutely love it.
Let me jump in the ANTIFRIDAY boat!
Oh man, great share, never heard Sanskrit mantras like this fused with Death metal! It kinda works!
my next life i want to be the bass guitar
excellent find
bonus points for working a shamisen into a funky groove
Trying to figure out her techniques. Looks like slap and double thumbing? Hmm, may have to try to fix my thumb angle after all, that sounded cool.
Yes, and this is something I probably would never have stumbled upon myself
(By the way, I never made it to Karl Strauss, but had a KS IPA at some other place - good stuff!)

Didnāt we have this one already (either in this or one of the other threads)?? Seems to ring a bell - I mean, the shamisen is kinda unusual and sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb (in terms of remembering having seen itā¦)
Probably this ![]()
So should we just remove the Friday portion of the subject line altogether?
It feels that way, but I donāt have any feelings about the matter one way or the other - as long as itās good music (or something new to many of us).
Talking of which⦠how about a midweek rave? Not much stringed bass in their stuff, but what a grinding low end they had.
This will be a familiar song to bassbuzz folks, but this live version, OMG!
BTW I like that thereās one place where we can always rely on it being Friday!
Happy Friday everyone!!
