Taking 14 yr old daughter to Perth to see Tame Impala in October. Her first concert of her choice, she has tagged along with me for the last 4 (RHCP, John Butler, Foo Fighters, Paul Kelly). She is so excited we got tickets and may almost forgive me about not being able to get tickets for Billie Eilish a few years back or Tyler, the Creator show last year.

Saw the Orchestra (remnants of ELO) last night, not quite like ELO but very well done! Now I can’t get it out of my head! ELO is playing in the dark corners of my brain!

Tomorrow, Amenra in Brussels. Again :black_heart:

Went to Gatecreeper last night in San Francisco.
They are incredible.
Support bands were all excellent.
(from first to last:)
Dying Remains - lotsa death metal with great groove moments
Eternal - cool mash up of death, thrash and prog elements.
Denial of Life - hardcore/thrash/crossover/headbang heaven
Gatecreeper - massive death metal, more swedish melo-death on their latest record. They crushed so hard.

Incredible show.

Got first row seats for a Jerry Seinfeld standup show tonight at Austin’s Texas Performing Arts Bass Concert Hall.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Great band!
Khemmis is coming to town in a few weeks.
Not sure I can make it, but love their music:
(can’t really vouch for the videos… I’d say just go find them on your streaming service of choice but because of links…)

I’ll be seeing Khemmis at Desertfest Belgium and will surely give them a listen before

So far, line up is promising :star_struck:

We are flying to Stockholm tomorrow to visit my brother and family.

He’s got us tickets to see Elvis Costello at an old venue called Cirkus.

Elvis is playing all the old stuff from the first 3-4 albums

BÖC did a great show when I saw them, but that was in the ‘80s. Still, an old fave.
