Damn, heck of a line up. My daughter is gaga for MCR.

Myself, daughter, and son are going to Chevelle in April.

Recently saw Pink Martini play ACL Live to a sold-out and raucous Austin audience. The set list was extremely eclectic, the arrangements were innovative and fun, and the musicianship of instrumentalists and singers was nothing short of superb.

Here is but one example of this uber-talented band’s capabilities:

Short update: The show was really cool! The music was nice and there was even a whole bass solo song
I still prefer going with friends/my partner but I still had fun.

In summer I will go to my first festival (Summer Breeze) and there I already have like half a dozen different friend group camps I can visit. Looking forward to it ^.^

I’m going to see Sting in Austin this coming May. The venue is the very groovy Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park.

Playing Austin is a special homecoming event for Sting, because KLBJ-FM was the only radio station in the country that would play The Police records before the rest of the US eventually got hip to the band.

Seeing the Steep Canyon Rangers tonight. They’re opening for Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Even without the visible instruments, I’d have 100% picked out the bass player.

Seeing Metallica for the first time in Glasgow in June. Load of my mates going through for it, should be a good laugh

Waiting to see Steve Harris live … Costa Rica!!! :costa_rica:

Outstanding show last night!

Rather than the band opening for Steve and Marty, the entire two-hour show was choreographed to alternate between comedy and music. That said, there was a smooth transition in the middle of the highly-polished show that allowed the Steep Canyon Rangers to show off their chops and, man, did they ever. Holy shit! It’s little wonder that they were awarded a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.

The entire evening of comedy and music was slickly produced, and went by way too quickly. Bravo, gentlemen! :+1: :+1:

I would love to see them but alas they are not coming near me. I’ll have to settle for Iron Maiden in September!

Going to see The Hu and Apocalyptica in May. It’ll be my first real concert. I technically saw Loretta Lynne at dinner theater in Vegas when I was too little to remember much :joy:
