I plan to do something like a short scale Telecaster bass one day. I already have a Squier Bronco Bass neck for this purpose. not very sure about the specs at this point, but that’s something I’d really like.

I’d really like to try one of these Telenbackers. I’ve always thought Tele’s were cool, I’ve always thought Rick’s were cool, I’ve loved the medium scale basses I tried, and it’s 3-4kg, in a nice Fender blue with a matching headstock. I’d probably fall in love.

Any idea how this thing sounds?

Nope but I’m guessing pretty funky (in a bad way) for sustain because as @terb noted it’s got a 6-pole pup on a 4-string instrument.

I love that. I WANT ONE. I think that is the first SS bass shown here that made me want to buy it immediately.
It says affordable, but no price. So probably about $1000, but I will look into it. If it is cheaper then a G&L ASAT, I will have one one day, for sure.
Actually now that I am making a trade for a G&L (hopefully, I have some things happening that may prevent it, but assuming I get that L-2000) I want this one instead of the G&L ASAT (tele bass)

Much less (keep reading  )

Less than $500. Also weighs 6lbs, not 8.2. It sounds awesome. Plus, Medium Scale, which is cool.

Ok, now I will get two. LOL.

I couldn’t find it in the article, maybe there is another page, I was gonna check on Reverb tho.
