Hmm. That reminds me of a similar headstock I’ve seen. Oh, yeah, the headstock on the Schecter Banshee that I bought many years ago.

I’ve been playing a mini P. Swapped out the bridge for a musiclilly, changed the pickup to a tonerider and put on some Gotoh tuners.

looks great  and i really love that scale

I was really GASing for a Midwestern 2, but Serek’s backlog and build time pushed it way past my move to France. I could take used items (older than 6 months) to France duty-free, but shipping a new $3K+ Serek to France would have added another 25-30% to the price. More than I was willing to spend at the time. Sigh. The good news is that I’ve connected with several European luthiers who have been more than happy to take my euros.

“Novo fitted the bass with a pair of Lollar Jazzmaster Bass pickups.”

That is not a pair of Jazzmaster bass pickups.

I quite like the rather fat proportions but more importantly it’s an opportunity to get your hands on
‘Novo 18:1 non-locking tuners’.

its kinda got that same full size body on a short neck thing that you see a lot. a lot of manufacturers just don’t put the effort into doing it right, you especially saw this a lot when the short scale craze was in full swing and everybody was jumping on the bandwagon.

Exactly.

Sire and Sterling do shorties better.
