Kithara Guitars Samson shorty
gorgeous. Love the h22
love the headstock
yeah that 2-tone is classy
Hmm. That reminds me of a similar headstock I’ve seen. Oh, yeah, the headstock on the Schecter Banshee that I bought many years ago.
theres a couple out there that kind of mimic this design, it really is a good look ![]()
I’ve been playing a mini P. Swapped out the bridge for a musiclilly, changed the pickup to a tonerider and put on some Gotoh tuners.
looks great
and i really love that scale
I was really GASing for a Midwestern 2, but Serek’s backlog and build time pushed it way past my move to France. I could take used items (older than 6 months) to France duty-free, but shipping a new $3K+ Serek to France would have added another 25-30% to the price. More than I was willing to spend at the time. Sigh. The good news is that I’ve connected with several European luthiers who have been more than happy to take my euros. ![]()
one of those things that I think everybody loves but I just find it a little odd? ![]()
The proportions look weird. And its $4k
“Novo fitted the bass with a pair of Lollar Jazzmaster Bass pickups.”
That is not a pair of Jazzmaster bass pickups.
Also tempered pin
I presume they mean pine?
hipster approved reclaimed antique bowling pins
I quite like the rather fat proportions but more importantly it’s an opportunity to get your hands on
‘Novo 18:1 non-locking tuners’.
its kinda got that same full size body on a short neck thing that you see a lot. a lot of manufacturers just don’t put the effort into doing it right, you especially saw this a lot when the short scale craze was in full swing and everybody was jumping on the bandwagon.
Exactly.
Sire and Sterling do shorties better.
i said a lot a lot
I do this a lot
